Be part of the CAT 785 rebuild project. Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday work if required. Experience / Qualifications required:

  • Auto Electrical Trade Certificate 
  • Ideally have experience rebuilding CAT dump trucks
  • 3-5yrs post apprenticeship onsite experience of working on CAT, Hitachi or Komatsu mine site equipment highly regarded
  • Experience in electrical and hydraulic fault finding preferred
  • Experience working with Excel, ET and SIS
  • Fork Lift Licence an advantage

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Carry out maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs as instructed
  • Read and understand electrical schematics
  • Conduct quality repairs and maintenance in a timely and safe manner
  • Liaise with site personal in relation to repairs
  • Understand safety awareness and safe work practices
  • Daily reports
  • Conduct cab repair/overhauls as required
  • Carry out reusability assessments of electrical components
  • Assist in guiding, mentoring and upskilling Apprentices and trainee’s
