Drilling Tools Australia (DTA) and Remet Engineers, both wholly owned subsidiaries of the Ausdrill Group, have jointly invested in a brand new shared facility after outgrowing the Uppsala Place premises in Canning Vale.

DTA’s main focus is drilling consumables and Remet's is drill pipe. The new building has been purpose built for the different styles of manufacturing techniques unique to the respective product lines.

Planning for the new facility started over two years ago, but was put on hold during the Ausdrill takeover bid in 2007. Building resumed after the bid failed.

Planned from the outset as a combined DTA/Remet facility, the building was constructed from tilt up concrete panels and sheet metal.

Both DTA and Remet Engineers follow the Ausdrill core philosophy of striving to be the best at what we do with the most advanced equipment and the latest technology. This new facility and equipment are the most advanced of their kind in Australia and will accommodate the growth of both business divisions.
